Introduction to MS Word 2019, How to set Workspace, Work Area and margins like Top Right Bottom Left. MS (Microsoft) Word is general purpose application software which is a package of MS Office (Microsoft Office).MS Word have a Workspace or Work Area where any type of contents, matters or texts etc. write here smoothly. You can type your contents freely here in between this workspace or work area where margin set. Workspace is a are where write or type contents or texts easily way.
Settings of Margins
There are four types of margins in ms word workspace / work area. And you can setup different types of margins in workspace or work area of MS Word easiest ways. Adjust margins : Set the margin sizes of the entire document or the current section. Or choose from the several commonly pre-formated layout or customize own.-
Four type of Margins :
- Top Margin
- Right Margin
- Bottom Margin
- Left Margin
- Go to the Layout Tab of main menu bar
- You will be see a option like Margins in left side top corner
- Just click on down spin arrow
- After that you will be find lots of pre-formated margins like as :

If you all want to apply these margins in your document then, just click once on the each one to apply.
- Normal Margins
- Narrow
- Moderate
- Wide
- Mirrored and
- Custom Margins
If you want to customize their own style margin then,
- Click on Custom Margin
- After that you will be find a dialog box of Page Setup
- You will find a Margins tab of Page Setup dialog box
- There you setup their own margins of Top, Right, Bottom and Left boxes with precise numbers which you want
- And just click on the OK to apply this settings. And see the effects in your own document or current section.
You can setup margins with the help of ruler option. Show rulers next to your document. Also you can see and set tabs stops, move table borders, and line up objects in the document. Also you can set measure stuff.
- click on View tab of main menu bar
- You will find a Ruler under the Show section
- Just check the box to show ruler and you can un-check the box to hide the ruler
- Bring mouse pointer on Margins like Top, Right, Bottom and left of the ruler bar
- click and hold the left mouse button and drag it to your desire location to increase (+) or decrease (-) your Margins according to your need.
